The Loan Co team grows

JUST two and a half years old, Perth’s specialist construction finance company, The Loan Company, now boasts 17 finance managers, the latest two being Paul Maree and David Paull.

Owner and managing director Sally-Anne Merrington said the business writes $20 million of construction loans a month.

Some business comes from online and newspaper advertising, but a lot is referred by builders, sales professionals and clients.

Ms Merrington said The Loan Company spends two hours at its first formal meeting with a client, to establish the client’s immediate, short and mid-term plans, financial situation and needs.

The company will restructure finance, including investment and car finance, and can offer a choice of products from 30 lenders.

To help clients understand the construction process The Loan Company also offers verbal and written information on all phases including valuations and settlements.

The Loan Company has expanded into regional Western Australia, with an office in Bunbury and representatives in Albany and Karratha.
