Gold explorer Terrain Minerals has unearthed some exciting historic drilling results at Wilson’s Patch, about 3km from its Great Western Project just out of Leonora. The best results were 5m @ 4.2 g/t gold from just 10m deep, 8m @ 3.89 g/t, 3m @ 6.56 g/t from just 22m, 7m @ 9.69 g/t which included a 1m intersection grading an impressive 33.6 g/t gold.

The best results were 5m @ 4.2 g/t gold from just 10m deep, 8m @ 3.89 g/t, 3m @ 6.56 g/t from just 22m, 7m @ 9.69 g/t which included a 1m intersection grading an impressive 33.6 g/t gold.
Several other impressive results were also unearthed and a review of the size potential of the targets is presently underway and further activities are planned based on the target analysis.
The area has been tested to a depth of 85m below surface and a strike length of 160m has been defined through drilling. The mineralisation is open at depth and to the east.
Terrain currently has three interesting projects including the Rembrandt project near Menzies, 100% owned by Terrain which recently intersected high grade gold at the Monet Prospect.
The company has also been focussing on its Great Western Project which partly makes up the Wilson’s Patch mining area close to Leonora.
They consider Great Western to be their best near term hope for production with an estimation and economic study process currently being conducted.
