Synergy signs purchase order deal

IPT Systems Ltd’s wholly owned subsidiary, Synergy Business Solutions, has executed a contract to provide electronic purchase order delivery services for J Blackwood and Son Ltd, a division of the Wesfarmers Group.

In a statement, IPT said Synergy’s data centre would facilitate a real-time purchase order delivery and confirmation process between Blackwood’s branches and its wholesale suppliers.

The final sign-off for the deal is August 23 this year.

IPT said its initial estimates were that Blackwood would process about 900,000 transactions per year.
