Subdivision designed to fit in

ASSET Special Projects and FDPSavills have been appointed joint agents to market the St Thomas Square subdivision in Subiaco.

The urban infill development opposite Kings Park is comprised of 30 lots on the 1.4-hectare site.

Twenty-one of the 30 blocks have already sold, with prices starting at about $275,000 and ranging up to $420,000 for the larger 480 square metre blocks.

Asset Special Projects director Marcus Gilmore said a signboard on the site in Subiaco had attracted considerable interest.

“We’ve put a signboard up, which has resulted in expressions of interest far exceeding the number of blocks,” he said.

“What people are looking for is parks and recreational facilities, like Kings Park.”

Design guidelines have been developed for the site to ensure the residential development fits in with the existing Subiaco character.

“We’re working closely with the council to ensure the architectural style doesn’t have a negative effect on the surrounding areas,” Mr Gilmore said.
