On Wednesday February 12, the Chamber of Commerce and Industry is conducting a seminar entitled, State Tax Reforms – Navigating Your Way Through the Changes, at the Chamber of Commerce and Industry Function Centre, from 4:30pm onwards. The seminar will outline the major changes to WA State taxes such as, Stamp Duty on cheques, workers compensation insurance, lease and business transfers; as well as Payroll tax and Land tax thresholds that are scheduled to take effect from the start of the new financial year. Presented by Graeme Cotterill, a Chamber of Commerce and Industry Taxation Committee Member and Partner at Malleson Stephen Jacques, the seminar will help make all business operators aware of the range of changes to WA’s taxlaws, and will help them to navigate their way through the tax changes and understand what they will mean for their business.
