Silbert to head Shorter PR group

CHRISTINE Silbert has been appointed general manager of Shorter PR, now part of The Shorter Group.

After 10 years managing her own business, Christine Silbert Public Relations, Ms Silbert said she was excited about joining the company, which she felt had the vision to change the way marketing and communication services would be provided to clients.

“The integration of PR services into marketing and advertising companies has been widely accepted in Perth, and this is where I think the PR market is heading,” Ms Silbert said.

“Businesses are looking more towards receiving a full marketing and media liaison service from the one provider and The Shorter Group caters for both ends of the market.”

Ms Silbert said former UK PR consultant Fiona Cooper had been appointed with Shorter PR as an account manager.
