The Australian share market has opened higher, led by banking and resource companies. At 1012 AEST on Thursday, the benchmark S&P/ASX200 index was up 21.7 points, or 0.42 per cent, at 5,168.8, while the broader All Ordinaries index was up 23 points, or 0.44 per cent, at 5,253.6.
