SHR to merge with Livingstones

Perth-based Strategic Human Resources has agreed to a merger of equals with Brisbane employment company Livingstones.

Under the deal, which is expected to be completed by December, the company will operate out of offices in Perth, Melbourne, Sydney and Brisbane.

SHR is ranked as the 17th largest consultancy business, according to the BNiQ Search Engine, with 21 consultants.

Livingstones was established in 1982 and works across a range of sectors including education, hospitality and government departments.

The merger comes with Livingstones and SHR having worked together on a number of projects.

SHR chief executive Steve Rayner welcomed the merger.

“We are delighted to announce this merger that delivers on our promise of continued growth — both geographically and across our service lines,” Mr Rayner said.

“SHR is now in a position to provide truly national coverage across our core competencies of human resources management, employee and industrial relations consulting, while also introducing new capabilities.”

Livingstones director of strategy Nadia Taylor said the deal was an exciting development.

“The deal positions us strongly to help some of Australia’s largest industries, as we expand our capabilities, combining leading industrial relations, human resources and organisational development professionals under the one entity,” she said.
