Rollins, Inc. signs to acquire Allpest

US-based multinational Rollins Inc. has announced an agreement to acquire the assets and operations of Welshpool-based pest control company Allpest WA.

The acquisition is expected to close in February, and marks Rollins' first business venture in Australia.

The acquisition price was not disclosed.

Established in 1959, Allpest recorded revenues of approximately US$25 million for 2013.

Allpest managing director Greg Mills acquired the company in 1998 with partner Sue Mills, and has taken it into the global market.

Staff numbers have grown from 7 to 170 people since the acquisition 15 years ago.

In addition to traditional residential, commercial and termite service offerings, Allpest provides consulting services around the globe on pre-border protection of Australia's biosecurity and provides specialised offerings to Australia's mining and oil and gas sectors.

Mr Mills will continue in a consultancy role to support incoming Rollins representative Matt Turek, who is relocating from the US.

Allpest was advised by KPMG Corporate Finance, Corrs Chambers Westgarth and Paragon Consultants.

Through its wholly owned subsidiaries, the company provides pest control services and protection against termite damage, rodents and insects to more than 2 million customers in the United States, Canada, Central America,South America, the Caribbean, the Middle East, Asia, the Mediterranean, Europe, Africa and Mexico from more than 500 locations.
