Recent WA Government grants

The WA Government has allocated $3 million through ScreenWest to three new production projects in this year’s first round of funding from the Screen Industry Partnership Fund.

The recipients are:

• Mago Films subsidiary Surfing the Menu, for a series of eight half-hour 'food/travel/adventure' segments;

• Prospero Productions, for 13 half-hour segments in a documentary series called 'The Snakebuster'; and

• Great Western Entertainment, a new company in WA, for a proposed slate of children's television series, commencing with a planned 26 half-hour series called 'Parallax'
