RDG wins $35 million gold mill deal

Perth-based Resource Development Group has won a $35 million contract to design and construct a processing plant for Silver Lake Resources’ Murchison gold project in Western Australia.

RDG said the works contract covers relocation, refurbishment and re-use of selected plant and equipment from Silver Lake’s Tarmoola processing facility near Leonora, plus engineering, procurement, fabrication, construction and commissioning of the new carbon-in-leach processing plant for Murchison at Tuckabianna, near Cue.

The works will be carried out by RDG subsidiary Pacer Corporation.

Pacer has previously completed de-bottlenecking works for Silver Lake at its Lakewood processing plant in 2011.

Silver Lake is targeting maiden production at Murchison for the first quarter of next year.

By close of trade today, RDG stocks had gained 4.9 per cent, to trade at 21.5 cents.
