PRETZEL Logic has received favourable comment for its creation of the World E-Com 1999 conference web site.Managing director Steve Pretzel said it was important for the site to be a working demonstration of electronic commerce.“Being an international sympos-ium, the accompanying web site needed to have global appeal,” Mr Pretzel said.“Visitors to the site required the ability to book and register for the event.“As the conference’s primary information medium, the web site was pointed to in all press releases.“This was a good example of print complementing e-commerce,” he said. The company was given only five days to get the site up and running.“Project manager Kirsty Watkins and a team of six delivered an excellent result with a very tight deadline,” he said.“The site was to be hosted in New South Wales but was too slow so we re-organised it here in Perth in a very short period of time.”
