Perkins wins $25m SW school contract

Bunbury-based Perkins Builders has secured a $24.9 million state government contract for extension works at Margaret River High School.

Under the contract, Perkins will build a series of new classrooms, including a two-storey learning block, a science building, a farming shed, along with refurbishments to the existing administration building. 

A new physical education block will also be installed.

The company will also demolish the existing farming sheds and change rooms

Works are set to begin this month with completion expected by January 2020.

Earlier this year, Perkins was awarded an $8 million contract by the state government to complete the redevelopment of the Dolphin Discovery Centre in Bunbury.
