RECENTLY listed Internet tools software developer HarvestRoad CEO Grame Barty will be one of the speakers at the forthcoming Business to Business Trade Show.
Mr Barty will be presenting a speech entitled Creating an Online Business Network – Tools and Processes
Prior to listing on 7 September, the company’s capital raising exercise realised $7 million, which is $1 million oversubscribed.
Earlier this year, HarvestRoad gained George Bradbury as chairman. Mr Bradbury, a former chairman and CEO of Computer Power Group and senior IBM executive, surprised the Australian IT industry by joining the relatively unknown WA company.
Mr Bradbury said he was enthusiastic about guiding HarvestRoad to its public float.
“The market is volatile,” he said. “However, I am confident that investors will agree with me that HarvestRoad is a real company with innovative products and a solid future underpinned by growth.
Mr Barty said the company had formed alliances with major multinationals including Sun Microsystems and NEC which would boost its expansion into Asian markets and eventually the US.
