Tudor to head Navigator
Navigator Resources has recruited Andy Tudor to succeed David Hatch as its new managing director to try and help improve the operational performance of its Bronzewing gold project in WA’s Goldfields region. Mr Tudor has extensive experience in the mining sector, including various senior roles in project management, geology and minerals exploration. Most recently, Mr Tudor was general manager at international mining and energy consulting group Mining Associates. Navigator’s chief financial officer Gerry Kaczmarek and exploration manager Bernie Kirkpatrick have resigned.
Fitzpatrick chief at Micromine
Mining software solutions provider Micromine has appointed Kevin Fitzpatrick as chief executive officer. Mr Fitzpatrick was previously chief operating officer and joined as chief financial officer in 2008. Prior to that he was chief financial officer at Calibre Global.
Granado heads Wood & Grieve
Jose Granado has been appointed as chief executive officer at Wood & Grieve Engineers, based in Perth. Mr Granado joined the firm in 1998, was made an associate in 1999, and a director in 2000. Wood & Grieve’s current contracts include works at Fiona Stanley Hospital and the QEII Medical Centre.
Hayers heads SKM WA
Engineering and environmental consultancy Sinclair Knight Merz has appointed Richard Hayers as regional manager, WA/NT. Mr Hayers was previously water and environment operations centre manager, WA and prior to that held the same role at SKM in New Zealand.
Comb joins YTC
Gary Comb has been appointed as an independent non-executive director of Sydney-based metals explorer YTC Resources. Mr Comb was previously managing director of Jabiru Metals, which was taken over by Independence Group last year. Prior to that, he spent four years as chief executive officer of BGC Contracting.
