Nova 93.7 has emerged as the biggest mover in Perth's radio market, according to a Nielsen Media survey published today.
Since the end of January the station's breakfast program has jumped 1.8 per cent to gain an 11.4 per cent share of breakfast listeners.
Overall, Nova closed the gap on its radio rivals, with its Monday to Friday market share up one per cent to 10.7 per cent.
Austereo-owned Mix 94.5 and 92.9 continue to top the overall commercial spots Monday to Friday, despite Mix shedding 0.9 per cent and 92.9 losing 0.1 per cent.
Mix and 92.9 end March with a Monday to Friday share of 14.7 per cent and 11.9 per cent respectively.
ABC 720 is closely battling it out with 92.9 for second place Monday to Friday, with an equal 11.9 per cent share.
Fairfax Media's 96FM made the largest gain in the afternoon slot, up 2.1 per cent, taking its Monday to Friday share to 10.6 per cent, 0.1 per cent off Nova's.
Mix saw the largest drop in listeners from 7pm to 12 midnight, with its NightMix Requests program down from 12.8 per cent to 10.6 per cent, a 2.2 per cent drop.
