New partner at Gilbert + Tobin

Philip Edmands has been appointed as partner to the Perth office of Gilbert + Tobin, effective 1 June 2016.  Mr Edmands was previously a managing director and general counsel iron ore, Australia at Rio Tinto. Mr Edmands was formerly Perth managing partner at Ashurst practising in its energy & resources group. Mr Edmands is also a former director, Business Council of Australia and Minerals Council of Australia.
