Founded in 1968, the Fundraising Institute of Australia has provided career development opportunities for professional fundraisers and advocated on behalf of the fundraising industry.
FIA’s objectives include enhancing education, training and professional development of fundraisers; providing a resource of fundraising information; supporting and promoting certification of fundraisers; encouraging research into fundraising and philanthropic giving; and developing standards and codes of practice.
