Parcel Property has progressed its plans to develop a $50 million apartment building on Glyde Street, with PACT breaking ground on the project.
Parcel has appointed sister company PACT (both part of Dale Alcock’s ABN Group) for the construction of the 54-apartment, nine-storey project at 40-42 Glyde Street in Mosman Park.
Parcel lodged a development application for the project, named NOMA Residences, last year and was approved by the Metro Inner-North JDAP in October.
The Town of Mosman Park received 61 submissions during the public consultation process, with 24 in support and 37 objecting the proposal.
According to Parcel, half of the apartments had now been sold off-the-plan, with the building featuring a mix of apartment configurations.
Parcel general manager built form Ross Catalano said the one and three-bedroom apartments had been popular, reflecting strong interest from first homebuyers, young professionals and local downsizers.
Mr Alcock said the partnership between Parcel and PACT provided certainty over delivery time and quality for buyers.
“This is a fantastic milestone that demonstrates growing demand for apartment living in sought after and established neighbourhoods like Mosman Park,” Mr Alcock said.
“NOMA will establish a new benchmark in quality and craftsmanship for Mosman Park and be a vital activity node for Glyde Street - it will be an enduring part of the community for years to come.”
Construction completion is expected mid-2022.
