Monadelphous wins $100m contract extensions

Engineering contractor Monadelphous Group has secured oil and gas contract extensions worth a combined $100 million.

Monadelphous will provide onshore maintenance and shutdown services at ConocoPhillips' Darwin LNG facility for a further two years.

It has also renewed its contract with Oil Search for field construction services at the company's oil and gas production and support facilities in Papua New Guinea for a further three years.

"These contract extensions reflect the emphasis we place on maintaining our relationships with our customers and our experience in working on key oil and gas projects in Australia and overseas," Monadelphous managing director Rob Velletri said.

Monadelphous shares closed the day's trade 2.9 per cent higher at $18.00.
