Perth-based marine safety equipment provider Mobilarm has signed a contract to supply 218 of its Crewsafe V100 locating devices to the Fire and Emergency Services Authority.
The supply contract includes scope for four optional one-year extensions, Mobilarm chief executive Lindsay Lyon said.
FESA will supply the devices to each of its 36 volunteer marine rescue groups in WA for use during patrols, rescues and training.
“Mobilarm is pleasd to have secured the contract to supply our leading emergency locating devices to FESA following a successful bid,” Mr Lyon said.
“The contract reflects the growing demand for the unique value provided by Mobilarm’s Crewsafe devices in the local market.
“The use of Crewsafe V100 in Western Australia voluntary marine rescue operations sets a precedent for safetey for all marine rescue groups nationally.”
Mobilarm stocks were steady today at 5.3 cents.
