Minter Ellison appoints two partners

Law firm Minter Ellison has promoted Kip Fitzsimon and Gehann Perera to partners in the Perth office.

Ms Fitzsimon has extensive experience in the infrastructure, mining and energy and resources sectors while Mr Perera is a senior projects lawyer specialising in the structuring, documentation and financing of major projects.

Minter has also appointed M&A lawyer Byn Davis as special counsel while Claire Rowe (financial institutions) and Alex Lowe (M&A and infrastructure) have been appointed senior associates.

The appointments follow the recruitment this year of former DLA Piper Hong Kong partner Will Harrison as Minter’s new head of insurance & corporate risk and former Lavan Legal partner Kevin Stewart as a partner and head of the Perth disputes resolution group.
