National accounting and advisory group MGI Australasia is on the lookout for a new partner in Perth, after announcing its current Perth branch would cease membership of the group from June 30.
MGI executive chairperson Sue Prestney said the company’s focus would be on finding a firm that reflected the strong values and culture of the group.
“We are seeking a full service firm offering accounting, taxation and consulting services to family and private business operators and which can also assist our national and international client, particularly in south east Asia,” Ms Presney said.
Ms Prestney said MGI Perth had been a valuable member of the group, and has been a strong contributor to its growth.
MGI Perth merged with Ord Nexia in September 2010, becoming the 15th largest accounting firm in the state, according to the WA Business News' Book of Lists.
Its focus was primarily on middle market junior explorers and small listed companies, as well as private businesses.
WA Business News has sought comment from MGI Perth on its plans.
