IT research firm META Group envisages good growth for its services in WA and has appointed a full-time regional WA manager, Geoff Large, who is charged with developing the group’s presence in WA.
Mr Large said the move to WA came on the back of good growth in the Asia Pacific region.
“We have enjoyed 40 per cent growth through the Asia Pacific region over the last three years,” he said.
“To date Western Australians have been limited in the choice they have for competitive research and advisory services.”
Mr Large said key trends for IT information would be in the areas of enterprise architecture, security, e-business, and adaptive infrastructures.
“Our existing client base and most IT and business decision makers have welcomed the addition of our increased support effort to the local market,” he said.
Mr Large said META Group was also expanding into Hong Kong and Korea.
