The Liberal Party has cheekily posted a call for the whereabouts of Energy and Resources Minister Francis Logan, who has been conspicuous by his low profile during the election campaign and the Varanus Island gas crisis.
Below is the full announcement:
Today, we are appealing to the public to help us find the whereabouts of Fran Logan.
Mr Logan is supposedly the man responsible for Labor's response to the gas crisis.
But since the election has been called, he has been Missing in Action.
We are very concerned about Mr Logan's welfare - particularly due to his track record of being a bit of a party animal.
Mr Logan has some very important questions that he needs to answer.
Mr Ripper has already tried to cover-up Labor's incompetence on the gas crisis.
Surely the Labor Party is not trying to hide Mr Logan to avoid public scrutiny on one of the biggest crises to face the Western Australian economy?
Anybody with information on Mr Logan's whereabouts should phone the special hotline we have established - 6436 3300.
We believe it is in the public interest to get to the bottom of this mystery.
Labor can run, but the people of Western Australia won't let them hide on September 6.
