The parent company of self-storage business KeepSafe Storage has announced plans to open its third facility in Western Australia, committing $10 million towards the purchase of land in Welshpool and construction of the new site.
KBH Group’s new self-storage facility will grow KeepSafe’s reach in Perth, with existing facilities already in Balcatta and O’Connor.
Construction of the new Welshpool facility is scheduled to begin in the second quarter of the year, and be completed by the end of the year.
“An integral part of KBH’s strategy in the development of these facilities has been to focus on customer needs firstly, and then applying this knowledge to the detail in the planning and final build, which in turn delivers a self-storage experience that exceeds expectations at all levels,” managing director Shaun Bain said
The new Welshpool facility will offer about 650 storage units of varying sizes, including 4,000 square metres of hardstand for external storage of caravans, boats, cars and sea containers.
