Former Australian Securities and Investments Commission regional manager Jamie Ogilvie has taken up a role as non-executive director of Argent Minerals Ltd, which has lodged a prospectus to raise $5 million.
Former Australian Securities and Investments Commission regional manager Jamie Ogilvie has taken up a role as non-executive director of Argent Minerals Ltd, which has lodged a prospectus to raise $5 million.
Argent was formed on April 4, 2007 and entered into a joint-venture arrangement with Golden Cross Operations to explore tenements in the Lachlan Ford Belt in New South Wales.
It aims to list on February 28 and would have a market capitalisation of $9.4 million.
Other directors include Golden Cross Resources non-executive director Kerry McHugh, who takes on the role as executive chairman. Marcus Michael, a director of accounting firm Marshall Michael Pty Ltd, has been appointed executive director and company secretary.
The company hopes to raise $5 million through the issue of 25 million shares at 25 cents each.
