THE Chamber of Minerals and Energy has appointed Reg Howard-Smith as chief executive, replacing Tim Shanahan. Mr Howard-Smith was previously a director with the chamber, managing a range of policy portfolios including education and training, immigration, occupational safety and health and human resources.
