IN his first major role for five years, Channel Nine newsreader Peter Holland is returning to the stage as a world famous author in Yasmina Reza’s The Unexpected Man.
Black Swan Theatre Company is staging the play from June 13 to 28 at the Subiaco Theatre Centre.
Nicola Barrett appears alongside Mr Holland in the story of a man and woman sitting opposite each other in a compartment on the Paris to Frankfurt Express.
Instead of taking the risk of entering into conversation with a stranger the couple spend their time engrossed in their own internal monologues.
Tickets will be available from BOCS and range in price from $12 to $39.
