Nomad Building Solutions Ltd has appointed Macmahon Holding Ltd's general manager strategic development Phillip Hatt as its new chief executive.
Mr Hatt will commence his position on March 17 and will report directly to Nomad managing director Phil Guy.
Mr Hatt has worked at Macmahon since 2003, and prior to this, was the managing director of Nautronix Ltd's mining division.
He has also held a variety of senior management roles within Australia with the Readymix Group (Rinker Materials) and Cockburn Cement (Adelaide Brighton Ltd).
Mr Hatt holds an Associateship in civil engineering and also a Masters of Business Administration from the University of Western Australia.
In addition, Nomad has appointed Tony Fifield as its new general manager commercial/contracts, who will report to the CEO, and will deputise Mr Hatt when required.
Mr Fifield has been working as a consultant to the company over the past 12 months managing the Pluto project for Woodside Petroleum Ltd, and was previously the business development director (Australia) for ESS Support Services Worldwide (Compass Group Australia Pty Ltd).
