GREAT Southern Ltd has announced the retirement of managing director John Young effective on February 28 2008. Founder and major shareholder of Great Southern, Mr Young has spent 20 years with the company. He will remain on the board and keep his 17 per cent stake. Cameron Rhodes will replace Mr Young in the managing director position. Mr Rhodes has been the group’s executive director and general manager for the past five years.
