GR Engineering Services has been awarded another contract at Sirius Resources’ Nova nickel project, bringing the value of its workbook at the project to $126 million.
GR Engineering has received an engineering, procurement and construction contract for the design and construction of the non-process infrastructure at Nova, valued at $12 million.
Work will be completed alongside with the project’s processing facilities, which are currently under way.
“We look forward to continuing to work with Sirius and to playing our part in the successful development of this important project,” GR Engineering managing director Geoff Jones said.
Mr Jones also said the company continued to seek opportunities domestically and internationally with the view to more fully utilising its operational and financial resources.
“We continue to pursue additional consulting and study engagements to further utilise the company’s process engineering capacity and to gain exposure to design and construction opportunities in the longer term,” he said.
Last month, GR Engineering was awarded a $114 million contract to construct a mineral processing and paste fill plant at the Nova project, with work to be completed by November next year.
