A LOCAL company marketing collapsible binoculars has secured a deal with Vodafone to supply the telco with 15,000 of its branded binoculars.
Capital Pacific, the company behind scooter business Vmoto, has been marketing its Adver-Eyes Binoculars under the brand Binocchio through an agent it appointed in Europe last year.
Vodafone first used the binoculars at the Imola Formula One grand prix last month and has recently placed an order for 15,000 Binocchios with Vodafone branding to be used at upcoming grand prix in Monza, Italy.
Capital Pacific director Bill Ali said the company had received hundreds of inquiries from companies throughout Europe after it showcased, and won an award, at a recent Milan expo.
“We won first prize for a new product in the Gift Awards. It’s a prestigious award and as a result we have over 500 companies in Europe queuing up for the promotional binoculars,” he said.
Mr Ali also operates scooter company Vmoto and said its first scooters had arrived in the US.
“They’ll be launched in the US by a Perth guy who now lives in Maryland,” Mr Ali said.
“The first Vmoto scooters hit Europe this month as well.”
