Evans opens restaurant

The latest celebrity chef to join Western Australia’s culinary scene, Pete Evans, has officially opened the doors of his new restaurant at Fraser Suites Perth.

After months of speculation it was confirmed last month that My Kitchen Rules co-judge Pete Evans was making his first foray into the WA market as ‘consultant chef’ at Fraser Suites.

The hotel’s restaurant has been revamped under Mr Evans’ guidance and reopened with the new name - Heirloom.

Mr Evans is renowned for his dedication to paleo nutrition, which will be evident in the menu with what is described as ‘paleo-influences’.

The opening of the restaurant adds to a growing number of celebrity chefs joining the Perth market; Jamie’s Italian the most recent to open last year.

Meanwhile, Crown Perth has been adding to its portfolio of well-known chefs, as reported by Business News in its recent branding feature.
