Empired scores $11m Main Roads contract

Perth-based IT services provider Empired Ltd has secured an infrastructure outsourcing services contract with Main Roads Western Australia, valued at over $11 million.

This is the first major Government outsourcing contract secured by the company.

Empired said the contract spans an initial three year term, with provision for an additional two year option to extend the contract to five years.

Under the terms of the agreement, Empired Limited will provide infrastructure outsourcing services including the provision of a centralised service desk, management of computing infrastructure and remote monitoring of network and application availability.

Further to this, Empired will provide systems integration and enhancement services to MRWA's infrastructure as required.
