The need for businesses to manage their customer relationships has resulted in Perth-based business management solutions provider Elev8 Australia launching a new award-winning product on the Western Australian market.
Elev8 Australia sales and marketing manager Ian Spencer said the company, subject to confirmation, was aiming to officially launch its new customer relationship manager (CRM) product, Sage CRM SalesLogix, on February 22.
“SalesLogix is a flexible product, which can be moulded into the business that it’s being used in,” Mr Spencer said.
“A benefit of SalesLogix is that you can place the orientation of the product on any angle.
“If you want to place it on contacts, or if you want a sales operation that is more contact driven, then you can base the SalesLogix product around that. So we like the practicability of the fact that you can put it into any type of business.”
Mr Spencer said the CRM product could be used by any small to medium sized business.
“Any company doing maintenance or any support service operations can use SalesLogix, because it has a full service management system built within it,” he said.
He told WA Business News SalesLogix had the facilities to link in with personal digital assistant’s and mobile phones.
“The product is beneficial when you have got people out on the road and you need instant up-to-date information,” he said.
According to Mr Spencer, in the first year of sales, Elev8 would be hoping to make up to $200,000 revenue from sales of the CRM product.
The SalesLogix product launch will correspond with a seminar for existing Sage users of the software and for potential customers, which will include an introduction to SalesLogix and complementary products.
Last month, SalesLogix won the Frost and Sullivan 2005 ‘Best Bang for Your Buck’ award in the Asia Pacific operational customer relationship management (OCRM) software market for providing customers with the best-value-for-money CRM solution.
Frost and Sullivan evaluated SalesLogix against more than 10 other vendors during its recent study of the Asia Pacific OCRM market, including Microsoft and Oracle Corporation.
Elev8 was borne out of the Sage Group plc, one of the world’s largest accounting software companies, which merged with South African CRM software developers Pastel in 2003.
Elev8 supplies, implements and supports Sage and Pastel products in Western Australia.
The launch of SalesLogix follows last month’s worldwide launch of Microsoft CRM 3.0 with WA customer Commetech Wireless, one of 20 worldwide customers to showcase the product.
