Eden signs major US contract

Eden Innovations has secured a $48 million supply contract with US-based Silent Partner International, which will use Eden’s concrete products over an eight-year period.

Perth-based Eden is a clean technology company, whose main product is EdenCrete – a sustainable concrete admixture.

The $48 million contract is the largest win for Eden which, by contrast, posted $1.6 million in EdenCrete sales in the 2019 financial year.

The news sent Eden's shares 26 per cent higher on the ASX today, with the company trading at 3.4 cents at the market close.

Silent Partner will use EdenCrete in the construction and maintenance of a number of proposed facilities that it plans to build in the US and in other countries.

Eden said there was potential for Silent Partner to use more of its productions during construction.

Led by chairman Greg Solomon, Eden signed its first significant purchase order earlier this month with Australian and New Zealand distributor, Parchem Construction Supplies.

The order, worth $US65,274 ($A94,040) is for a 20-foot container load of EdenCrete product that will be supplied from Eden's plant in Colorado.

Eden said a range of Australian companies had showed interest in the EdenCrete product, which has been trialled by a number of customers.
