Eclipse Computing has been recognised as the nation’s best recommended employer in the software sector at the annual Australian Business Awards.
Chief executive Bradley Stroop said the award was recognition for the company’s people-orientated culture.
He said Eclipse had developed a dedicated in-house human resources team, which was focused on attracting and retaining the best people.
“Eclipse is an innovator in the workplace and we are very proud to receive this award,” Mr Stroop said.
“It is affirmation from some of the country’s top business leaders that our philosophy is an industry benchmark.”
Mr Stroop said the software firm, a subsidiary of ASX-listed UXC Limited, was focused on building its presence in Western Australia, currently holding contracts with Resolute, Ampella Mining, and NRW Contracting, among others, among 55 global customers in the mining and resources sector.
Non-resources clients in WA include Wilson Group, Amcom and Compass.
Eclipse employs more than 400 people across its offices in Australia, New Zealand, North America and Fiji.
“Our people often work remotely and a priority is to make sure every person, regardless of location, receives the benefits of our cultural initiatives,” Mr Stroop said.
