FORMER Uranium Institute chairman Ian Duncan has been appointed as non-executive chairman of West Perth-based Energy Ventures, replacing Michael Blakiston, who has resigned after two years at the company, which recently changed its name from Australian Development Capital. Mr Duncan joined Western Mining Corporation in 1971, where he had a 27 year career, starting out as operations manager, exploration division, retiring from WMC as general manager of the Olympic Dam copper, uranium, gold and silver operation in South Australia. He is a former chairman of the London-based Uranium Institute (now the World Nuclear Association).
