DTI wins US contract

Local technology firm DTI Group has won a contract to supply its video surveillance systems for new buses in the US, for an undisclosed amount.

DTI will provide its CCTV management systems to 97 new buses in Philadelphia, which will allow video evidence to be recovered from the buses through the company’s ‘booking’ system.

“Each bus will be equipped with DTI’s mobile digital recorder with accelerometer plus wireless infrastructure and GPS-based vehicle location system,” the company said in a statement.

DTI recently won contracts to supply the same video surveillance systems for buses in Cape Town, South Africa, and in Brisbane.

Shares in DTI were unchanged at 30 cents at 12pm.
