Curtin and XTC Calls all Tech Entrepreneurs
Innovators across WA have until November 24 to enter the first round of the Extreme Tech Challenge (XTC); the world’s largest start-up competition for entrepreneurs tackling the world’s most critical challenges.
A win not only catapults entrepreneurs into the global finals but also provides them with a unique platform for growth and investment. One of the finalists will revceive a $50,000 investment from Australia’s leading energy producer, Woodside.
The competition is free to enter and Challenge partner Curtin University is holding the Australian regional finals during West Tech Fest, WA’s longest running innovation festival (from December 6 to 10, 2021).
Earlier this year, Curtin collaborator Mining Process Solutions won the XTC Clean-Tech Category from 3700 other start-ups across the globe with its revolutionary metal extraction processes. It’s based on simple amino acid glycine and most significantly the technology reduces the use of cyanide in gold mining.
The deadline for XTC Australia Round One is November 24, 2021.
Final Pitching is on December 6, 2021, via Zoom.
