After two years of development, a purpose-built online education program, Crimson Global Academy (CGA), began classes this week with parents and students welcomed to the CGA family.
One week in, and CGA’s parents are already expressing how excited they are at the benefits their children are experiencing.
“My 15-year-old daughter started classes with Crimson Global Academy this week. It is such a relief to see her getting real teaching from people who seem to have a passion for their subject. What a contribution on an international level,” a CGA parent said.
CGA offers a unique service to students and their families. The school, which is the brainchild of Crimson Education Co-founder and CEO, Jamie Beaton, was created with the mission to see students provided with the best education the world could provide.
“This week marked a major milestone both for Crimson. To watch these bright, enthusiastic, energetic and highly-engaged students gain access to some of the world’s best teachers and thrive on the experience after only one week has been incredibly exciting to watch.
“For the first time, students will be able to take additional International A-Level subjects with high-achieving peers from around the world with progression based not on their age, but on their ability, with no restrictions on the number of subjects they can take.”
Mr. Beaton’s comments highlight just some of the unique features of CGA which include:
-
Access to the Pearson Edexcel curriculum - the highly respected International A-Levels and International GCSE curriculum used by world-leading schools such as the UK’s Harrow School.
-
The ability for students to accelerate beyond their school year in line with their academic ability.
-
A timetable that fits the student’s needs (eg: elite athletes with training needs can fit their classes around their sporting schedules)
-
Access to a full range of International A-Level and International GCSE subjects including English Literature, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, Biology, Geography, Business Studies, Computer Science, and History.
In light of COVID-19, the school has been inundated with requests for enrolment resulting in the inclusion of another wave of term enrolments in June. With part-time and full-time places available, CGA is welcoming new members to their community at a time where engaging, quality, reliable and long-term academic teaching excellence is in demand.
Executive Principal, John Morris ONZM, said, “It is such a pleasure and privilege to lead a talented, excited, experienced group of teachers in this online effort. Everyone of them brings to the table years of experience in high-quality traditional school teaching, and the additional ability to embrace technology and provide an effective blend of self-driven and guided learning to our first classes of incredibly enthusiastic students.
“CGA is truly offering a new kind of schooling to suit the current era and current generation of students.”
