A 24-HOUR butler with a hotline to caterers, cleaners and car detailers is the latest enticement for buyers in the market for a luxury apartment in Perth.
Situated on Adelaide Terrace overlooking the Esplanade, the Mirvac Fini Panorama apartments offer a 24-hour concierge to greet residents and act as a security presence at the entrance of the building.
Apart from basic duties, the concierge will be able to organise domestic services like cleaning, catering and dry cleaning with a simple phone call.
For residents in the city, where parking is at a premium and popping out to pick up some groceries can be difficult, the service is very convenient – a phone call to the concierge and almost anything can be organised.
This new service is also good news for the domestic service suppliers, who will be able to develop a significant volume of work through a development like Panorama.
Mirvac Fini sales and marketing director Peter Gianoli said that, while people were excited about the location, the apartments’ close proximity to the city made convenience a major issue.
Many of the services trumpeted by Panorama are traditionally found in serviced apartments and hotels, but time-poor executives are now demanding similar services in their homes.
This relentless quest for good service and convenience in the executive market has helped to power the success of local online grocery shopping service, Electrolley.
Electrolly is a full service online grocery store including nappy service and, although there’s no single clear demographic, busy professionals represent a significant number of the registrations.
“We deliver a lot to businesses in the city and office deliveries,” Electrolley director John Travers said.
Delivery is free if the order is more than $30. The average order is about $70.
“There are others who offer part of the service … but there’s no one that offers the service from Mindarie to Mandurah to Armadale,” Mr Travers said.
