Malaga-based transportable accommodation manufacturer Complete Site Services has won a $65 million contract to build a camp for 801 workers at Fortescue Metals Group Limited's Christmas Creek project, about 100km north of Newman.
Under the deal, Complete will build, install and fit out three-room accommodation modules, with plans to expand the camp to a 1,202 worker camp over the next 12 months.
The Christmas Creek project is due for completion by the end of the year.
Complete has also been awarded a $2.5 million contract to design and install four training and communications buildings for FMG's Heng Shan Project, scheduled for completion in November.
Complete Site Services - which is a subsidiary of scaffolding and portable amenities company, The Complete Group - manufactures transportable units, lunchrooms, offices and accommodation for the mining industry.

Perth company Complete Site Services, a subsidiary of the Complete Group, has been awarded a $65 million contract to supply and install a 801-man camp for Fortescue Metal Group's Christmas Creek project, about 100km north of Newman.
Works for the project include the installations, fit out and commissioning of three-room accommodation modules. Other facilities on site include a full recreation area, pool, football oval, wet mess and kitchen.
The first stage of the project is on schedule and due for completion by the end of the year, with plans to expand the camp to a 1,202-man facility over the next 12 months.
A second Complete Site Services contract has also been awarded, worth about A$2.5 million, to design and install four large buildings, each 360 square metres, to accommodate training, communications and administration along with toilets and change room facilities at the Heng Shan Project and is schedule for completion in November 2008.
