Gold explorer Danae Resources NL has announced changes to its board and transfer of its registered office following the successful completion of its merger with Scarborough Minerals plc, formerly Greenwich Resources plc, and Buka Ltd.
Gold explorer Danae Resources NL has announced changes to its board and transfer of its registered office following the successful completion of its merger with Scarborough Minerals plc, formerly Greenwich Resources plc, and Buka Ltd.
All of the current directors of Danae including John Corcoran, Don Lewis, John Bovard and Andrew Roberts have tendered their resignations with immediate effect and the company acknowledges the contributions made by each of them during their time as directors.
The registered office of the company will transfer from the current Perth office to Sydney.
Scarborough Minerals has appointed Robert Champion de Crespigny as chairman of the board, with Mark Carnegie and Louise Herron appointed as non executive directors.
Following acceptances of over 90 per cent of Danae shareholders, Scarborough has issued compulsory acquisition notices to those outstanding shareholders, whose shares will be compulsorily acquired under the terms of the Corporations Law.
Trading of Danae securities will be suspended by the Australian Stock Exchange on 22 May 2006.

CHANGE TO THE BOARD OF DANAE AND REGISTERED OFFICE
Following the successful completion of the merger between Scarborough Minerals plc ("Scarborough" formerly Greenwich Resources plc), Buka Limited and Danae Resources NL ("Danae"), it has been agreed to make a number of changes to the board of Danae.
Scarborough has appointed Mr Robert Champion de Crespigny as Chairman of the board, with Mr Mark Carnegie and Ms Louise Herron appointed as Non Executive Directors. All of the current Directors of Danae including Mr John Corcoran, Mr Don Lewis, Mr John Bovard and Mr Andrew Roberts have tendered their resignations with immediate effect and the Company acknowledges the contributions made by each of them during their time as Directors.

Trading of Danae securities will be suspended by the Australian Stock Exchange on 22 May 2006. Danae shareholders will be able to trade their Scarborough shares on the London Stock Exchange, or alternatively trading in Scarborough CDIs on the Australian Stock Exchange will commence tomorrow, 19 May 2006, under the ASX Code: SRB.
As a consequence of the changes the registered office of the Company will transfer from the current Perth office to Sydney with immediate effect. The new office contact details will be as follows:
