CHARLES Jamieson has resigned as managing director of Austrade. Austrade chairman Ross Adler announced the news at Austrade’s monthly board meeting in Sydney.
“Its (Austrade) work in helping Australian exporters through the Asian economic crisis, the highly successful international business program Business Club Australia linked to the Sydney Olympics, and the creation of the Austrade Institute as a public sector first in intellectual capital management, have all been highlights of Mr Jamieson’s tenure as managing director,” Mr Adler said.
He said an extensive external and internal search would take place and a new MD would be appointed by the end of March next year.
