Law firm Carr & Co is shifting to a new headquarters, signing a seven-year lease deal at the BGC Centre in the CBD.
The 440 square metre deal was brokered by CBRE senior director of office services Andrew Denny.
Family law specialists Carr & Co will pay $510/sqm in the building, which is located at 28 The Esplanade.
It will share space with ex-Western Australian premier Peter Dowding.
CBRE is also marketing a range of tenancies at the BGC Centre, ranging from 106sqm to 918sqm, across most floors, while the whole of level 15 is available to lease.
The building is owned by BGC subsidiary Glentham Pty Ltd.
Other tenants include AnSteel, Gresham Partners, Resolute Mining, Marubeni Australia, AON Capital Investment, Prairie Mining, Papillon Resources, Blackswan Group and Qatar Airways
Mr Denny said Carr & Co was attracted to the existing fit-out already in place on level eight.
“Another draw card was the fact that the building houses a conference facility for tenant use,” Mr Denny said.
