ASX listed online resume verification company CVCheck, has bolted down its second material partnership in a week for the company’s unique software platform that alerts HR managers to the credibility or otherwise of a job seekers resume.
In an ASX announcement this morning, the junior tech company said that major New Zealand human resources software provider SnapHire, had agreed to integrate CVCheck’s resume verification system into their platform.
Snaphire, who provide human resources software, including recruitment software, to a who’s who of New Zealand blue chip companies, will now offer its clients the ability to stress test a job seekers resume in order to ensure everything contained in it is truthful.
SnapHire’s software, which will now integrate CVCheck’s platform, is currently used by a number of large New Zealand corporates including Bunnings Warehouse, Air New Zealand, Spark and others.
CVCheck and Snaphire, who are owned by NZ firm Aotal, Ltd both have complimentary software packages and share a number of tier 1 New Zealand customers including local Councils, Government departments and New Zealand banks.
Todays announcement comes hot on the heels of an announcement by CVCheck earlier this week that a similar deal had been locked away with Australian cloud based HR software provider PageUp.
PageUp also boast a quality list of large clients who will now have access to CVCheck’s resume verification platform. These include Telstra, Programmed, Linfox and others.
In relation to the latest deal, CVCheck CEO Rod Sherwood said “Successful integration with SnapHire further demonstrates one of CVCheck’s strengths. Our development team worked creatively and constructively with the Aotal team to fast track this novel technology integration. We thank both teams for their committed and talented contribution to this project.”
After a number of well publicized examples of job seekers falsely claiming everything from fake university degrees, to clean criminal records, to being formerly employed by highly credible companies that have never heard of them, employers appear to be embracing CV Check’s automated online CV checking program that holds a blow torch to the feet of job seekers.
In addition to former employment reference checks, police record checks and university degree verifications, CV Check are also able to tell an employer if their star job candidate has ever been bankrupt, laundered money, lost his or her drivers license or failed a credit check.
