EASTERN States-based public relations and government affairs firm CPR Communications is in the process of recruiting to fill the void created by the departures of former MP and Labor State secretary John Halden and former The West Australian journalist Anne Burns.
CPR has already lured BP external affairs manager Peter Metcalfe and is in the process of recruiting a second person.
Mr Metcalfe is expected to join the firm in two or three weeks.
Mr Halden and Ms Burns left the firm in February to form Halden Burns Pty Ltd and are actively working as lobbyists.
It is understood they took several clients with them from CPR, including the Mauds Landing Development.
