The Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Western Australia will hold a trade mission to China in April 2006, taking participants to the frontline of Chinese business and equipping them with the skills and support to penetrate the market.
Commencing in Guangzhou, with three days at the Canton Fair (Chinese Export Commodities Fair), the mission will continue onto Shanghai and Beijing. Open to all industries and businesses, the trade mission aims to provide a comprehensive, in-depth understanding of the scale and diversity of the Chinese market.
CCI will co-organise the trade mission with Australia China Trade Pty Ltd.
CCI Trade Services manager Keith Seed will accompany the tour, led by Australia China Trade Pty Ltd principal Juyan Feng.
With vast experience in exporting and importing in a variety of products and services from more than 28 countries, Mr Seed, together with CCI resources, will provide professional trade support to participating companies.
Born and educated in China, Ms Feng is a respected operator and negotiator in the Chinese marketplace and has accumulated vast business experience both in Australia and China during the past 23 years.
She has addressed various international conferences on Chinese issues and has established a wide business network with contacts at both senior and personal levels in the Chinese market.
Mr Seed said Ms Feng was also a specialist in marketing and business relationship management, and was a highly accredited and recognised translator and interpreter.
The mission will run from April 17 to 27 2006, with a booking deadline of Friday February 10 2006.
